Uses the Claude Code account you are already signed in to on this PC. Download the launcher once and run it; it sits in the system tray while you build:
Windows: WebSim-Launcher.exe
Mac/Linux: websim-launcher.py, then python3 websim-launcher.py.
It listens on 127.0.0.1 only, answers only this page, and runs the CLI with every tool switched off.
Use it from the tray icon's Open WebSim (this same page at http://127.0.0.1:8734/): from there the browser needs no local-network permission. From this site, Chrome may ask to allow local network access; allow it.
Needs Ollama running on this PC with a coding-capable model pulled (for example ollama pull qwen2.5-coder:14b). Ollama must allow this page in:
Windows: set the user environment variable OLLAMA_ORIGINS to https://websim.ai-ministries.com and restart Ollama.
Mac/Linux: OLLAMA_ORIGINS=https://websim.ai-ministries.com ollama serve.
Chrome may ask to allow local network access; allow it.
Your own key from openrouter.ai/keys. It is kept in this browser's storage and sent only to openrouter.ai.
